Summer is here! Now is the time to load up on the greens, fresh fruits and veggies!

A few fast facts for healthy salads:

  • Greens, Fruits and Veggies – have powerful anticancer effects, extends your life-span, makes your brain function better, repairs your DNA, increases your health, and they are high in nutrients and low in calories.

  • Lean Protein - builds and maintains lean muscle mass, strengthens your immune system, repairs damaged cells and tissues, reduces hunger hormones and boosts several satiety hormones, is loaded with vitamins B12, B6, iron, and zinc.

  • Fish – is high in omega 3’s (increasing your brain power), vitamin D, a great lean protein, and improves your sleep quality.
