THE MAGIC OF ATTRACTION

How is the Law of Attraction serving you?


What are the amazing things that have come into your life or that you would like to attract into your life? When you think of things that attract, such as a magnet and steel, it is an effortless pulling. It cannot be helped. The two are easily drawn together by a natural force. Through the force of gravity, a skydiver is pulled to the earth. A moth is drawn to a flame. Women are drawn to chocolate. These are overpowering forces that cannot be stopped!


The Law of Attraction says that you will attract or pull into your life whatever you focus on. Whatever you give your energy and attention to, will come back to you. If you stay focused on the good, abundant, and positive things in your life, you will automatically attract more good, abundant, and positive things. If you are focused on lack, scarcity, and negativity, then that is exactly what will be attracted into your life. Through some self-examination, focus and intention, we can start attracting better things into our life.

Like attracts like. If you are feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, appreciative, or abundant, then you are sending out and attracting back that positive energy. On the other hand, if you are feeling bored, anxious, stressed out, angry, resentful, or sad, you are sending out negative energy. Through the Law of Attraction, everything around you will respond to both types of energy. You get back whatever you put out there.


How can we start attracting more of what we want in life?


ANAYLIZE – Your current outcomes are often a result of your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, words, and actions. How has the law of attraction played out in your life?

What are the opportunities, wonderful blessings, and positive circumstances that you do have in your life? What were your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, words, and actions around these outcomes? How about some of the areas that you do not want in your life? What in your life is negative, lacking, and bringing you down? Do you have any limiting beliefs, negative emotions, or do you speak contradictory words about what you want in these areas? It’s time to start examining our lives and find out what needs to change.


THOUGHTS – Let your thoughts be about the outcomes that you want. Rather than thinking about stressful situations, spending your energy on what might happen, or re-hashing negative events in your mind again and again; focus on positive, productive things that you DO want in your life. Think about the things that you are thankful for. This is a great way to get into a positive mindset.



Your thoughts are powerful enough to create amazing shifts that can send you on a completely different trajectory in life. When you focus on the outcomes that you want, your mind will start working towards finding solutions. Your subconscious is always working in the background to create ways to make this happen. For example, when your thoughts are focused on a lean, fit body (verses being frustrated with that muffin-top); your subconscious is working in the background to think of ways as to HOW to make that happen. By focusing on the lean, fit, and healthy, you may find all sorts of things being pulled into your life. A friend you haven’t talked to for a long time might call you up because she wants a walking buddy. You may begin to notice or seek out healthier recipes. When you consistently think of what you want, you begin working to make these things happen. Your energy will go in the direction that your thoughts flow.


BELIEFS - If you want to make a change in a certain area of your life, focus on what your ideal picture is. What are all of your beliefs in this area? Do you have any conflicting beliefs? For example, you want that promotion at work. You are absolutely perfect for the job, it will stretch you, use your gifts, and the compensation is much higher. If you go into the interview believing deep down there’s no way they are going to hire you because of favoritism or office politics, the energy of that belief is palatable and will work against you. However, if you come into the interview thinking that your company is open and that they are truly hiring the best fit for the job, and that best fit is you; the people hiring will see a different side of you. You may have a completely different outcome based on your inner beliefs.


EMOTIONS – Our emotions are feedback as to what we are creating internally with our thoughts and our beliefs. When you have feelings of joy, expansion, and gratitude, you know you are on the right path. Gratitude is one of the quickest ways to change our feelings about something. Find something good in every situation. See how your circumstances are serving you, even when they don’t seem to be. Find the ways of seeing how your present is perfect.


It is also good to focus on the emotions that you do want when you are experiencing the opposite. If you are feeling anxious, think of feelings of peace and security. What do peace and security feel like in your body, heart, and mind?


WORDS – Listen to the words that you are saying. Are any of the statements you make contradictory to what you truly want? Our thoughts and words ultimately become our destiny. Rather than saying, “I’m too poor. I can’t afford that;” say, “I’m choosing to invest my money in other areas.” The first statement is about a place where you do not want to be – poverty and lack. The second statement signifies abundance and wisdom. You are ultimately saying, “No” to the other person in both statements, however you are saying two very different things to, and about yourself in these two instances.


ACTIONS – Do your actions line up with what you want, or are they contradictory? If you want to grow in your relationships, are you getting together with friends or are you sitting at home binge-watching Netflix? When you start to take actions in the direction that you want to grow in, it becomes a domino affect for getting the things you want in life.


CHOICE - Choose to respond differently to the circumstances in your life. When we are going through difficult, undesirable circumstances, it is easy to slide down that slippery slope and focus on the negative. However, this is also the time to be proactive and choose to spiral up in spite of what you might be facing. Despite negative situations, you can choose to focus and think about the things you want more of in your life. You can choose to think differently. You can choose to experience more of the things that make you feel good. You can choose to deliberately participate in the creation of your future and activate the Law of Attraction in your favour by managing your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, words, and actions.

We are always in a state of creation. We are attracting all kinds of things into our lives and design our future either consciously or subconsciously. The thoughts you think today, feelings you feel today, and actions you take today will determine your experiences tomorrow.
